Training on “Guidelines for the Safety of Processed and Frozen Meat for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and Stakeholders”On March 11, 2026, the National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI) organized a training course on “Guidelines for the Safety of Processed and Frozen Meat for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and Stakeholders” presided by His Excellency Dr. Keo Socheat, Director General of the National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation. The training aimed to provide knowledge on:
- Quality and safety management techniques in the production chain of processed and frozen meat.
- Operations at beef processing plants, including pre-cooling and freezing meat, are delivered by technical experts from the private sector.
In the afternoon, the NISTI team led the participants to visit the FBL beef processing plant in order to enhance their understanding by linking theoretical knowledge with practical implementation in an actual processing facility.
