The 7th China–ASEAN Forum on Development and Governance in Wuhan, People’s Republic of China, under the theme “Digital Governance Cooperation in the Era of AI”Technical official from the National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI) under the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI) represented Cambodia at the 7th China–ASEAN Forum on Development and Governance.
From 5–7 June 2026, the ASEAN Research Center of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) organized the 7th China–ASEAN Forum on Development and Governance in Wuhan, People’s Republic of China, under the theme “Digital Governance Cooperation in the Era of AI”. The forum aimed to strengthen academic collaboration, policy dialogue, and knowledge exchange between China and ASEAN countries in areas such as digital governance, computing power infrastructure, policy coordination, and artificial intelligence. The event brought together representatives from ASEAN member countries including Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand to explore emerging opportunities, insights, and the latest developments in advanced digital and AI technologies.
