Enhancing Food Packaging and Storage CapacitiesOn June 22, 2026, the National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation organized a training course on “Food Packaging and Storage for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises and Relevant Stakeholders” with 81 participants from micro, small and medium enterprises, distributors, warehouses and other stakeholders. The training course aimed to provide knowledge on:
• Functions and importance of food packaging, types of packaging materials and equipment
• Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) and Controlled Atmosphere Packaging (CAP).
• Factors influencing packaging selection, including food characteristics, storage conditions, and distribution systems.
