Training course on “Leading Digital Transformation: “Navigating Emerging Technologies and Innovation for Leaders of Ministries and Institutions”

Phnom Penh, June 29 – July 1, 2026 — The team from the National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI) under the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI) participated in a training course organized by Ministry of Post and Telecommunications under the theme "Digital Transformation Leadership: Emerging Technologies and Innovation for Leaders of Ministries and Institutions." The training was attended by a total of 122 officials holding the ranks of Secretary-General and Director General from 30 ministries and institutions, and was held at the Technology Center of the American University of Phnom Penh.

Key Highlights of the Training Program:

- Lecture on Artificial Intelligence leadership theory and change management for Ministry Leaders.

- History and concepts behind the creation of artificial intelligence, and strategic planning for digital transformation in government.

- Practical applications of Generative AI in an effective and responsible manner.

The active participation in this training course reflects the Ministry's commitment to keeping pace with AI technological advancements and its readiness for digital transformation within Cambodia's industrial and technological sectors.
