Promoting Research of agricultural drone frames using strong and lightweight materials (Carbon Fiber, Fiberglass and Aluminum) as an additional project to develop drone prototype products (Drone/UAV)The National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI) is conducting a research project on the design and fabrication of agricultural drone frames using strong and lightweight materials, including carbon fiber, fiberglass, and aluminum, to improve drone performance, durability, and efficiency for modern agricultural applications.
Led by Dr. To Dara , Specialist in Material Engineering, the project focuses on developing locally manufactured drone frames with the potential for future mass production. The initiative is expected to reduce production costs, strengthen local manufacturing capabilities, and improve farmers' productivity through modern agricultural drone technology.
Through research and innovation, NISTI continues to develop practical technologies that support sustainable agriculture, industrial development, and the advancement of science, technology, and innovation in Cambodia.
