Supporting Local SMEs through Technical Solution & CollaborationPhnom Penh, July 30, 2026 — The team from the National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI) conducted a technical consultation session with Lim Sreng handicraft , to discuss their operational challenges and provide technical solutions.
The consultation focused on the following areas:
1. Assess the operational challenges encountered by the enterprise, including current storage and preservation practices, packaging systems, and the intrinsic and extrinsic factors contributing to product deterioration and reduced shelf life.
2. Provide technical recommendations to address the identified challenges, with the aim of improving production efficiency, enhancing product quality and safety, and ensuring compliance for consumer use
