Supporting Local SMEs through Collaboration & Technical Solution

Phnom Penh, August 4, 2026 — A technical team from the National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI) conducted a  technical consultation meeting with Sankor Cashew Processing Enterprise, to discuss their operational challenges and provide technical solutions.

The consultation focused on the following areas:

1. Assessment of business and processing challenges faced by the enterprise, including issues in the pre-processing stage such as the procurement of raw cashew nuts from farmers, drying practices, storage methods, packaging, pest management and infrastructure factors, warehouse temperature.

2. Provide technical recommendations to address the identified challenges, with the aim of improve product quality in accordance with applicable standards for consumption, and enhance overall productivity.
