2026 Annual Meeting of the e-ASIA JRP Program CommitteePhnom Penh, 8–10 September 2026
Dr. Bong Angkeara, Deputy Director-General of the National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI) and representative of the Chair of Cambodia’s National Committee, led the Cambodian delegation in attending the “2026 Annual Meeting of the e-ASIA JRP Program Committee” virtually. The meeting was coordinated by Indonesia in cooperation with the e-ASIA JRP Secretariat. It brought together 50 representatives from the 11 ASEAN Member States, China, Japan, Australia, and the United States.
The meeting aimed to coordinate, strengthen, and promote regional research collaboration, with a focus on the following key agenda items:
1-Reviewing and discussing the requirements for participation in the 16th Call for Proposals for 2027 under the Agriculture field, covering:
• Climate-Smart Agriculture and Resilient Crop Systems
• Sustainable Food Value Chains and Post-Harvest Innovation
• Sustainable Aquaculture, Fisheries and Blue Food Innovation.
•
2-Reviewing the progress of ongoing projects and strengthening research collaboration among member countries and institutions.
3-Discussing and selecting successful research proposals for implementation in 2026.
