NISTI Strengthens Research Cooperation to Explore Cambodian Cashew Export Potential in ChinaPhnom Penh, 16 October 2026 — The Cashew Project Team of the National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI) met with Mr. Shang Wang, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Auric Spark Venture, to explore opportunities for research collaboration in processing technology, market research, and assessing the feasibility of exporting Cambodian cashew nuts to China.
The meeting focused on exchanging insights and identifying commercial opportunities to gain a better understanding of market demand and the key factors influencing the export of Cambodian cashew nuts to the Chinese market.
The discussion marked an initial step toward future cooperation that could contribute to strengthening Cambodia’s cashew value chain, increasing the value added of agricultural products, and expanding the country’s export markets.
