Government and Private Sector Meeting to Explore Collaboration in Science, Technology and Innovation

Despite their busy schedules, the dinner meeting between government representatives and the private sector provided a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and explore new opportunities for collaboration to promote the development of science, technology and innovation in Cambodia.

Phnom Penh, October 28, 2026 – H.E. Dr. KEO Socheat, Director General of the National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI), accompanied by colleagues, met with H.E. Dr. Yem Vibol, Executive Director of the National Research Foundation (NRF), and Mr. Phoeun Phally, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of VP.Start.

The meeting aimed to exchange experiences in research and development (R&D) and explore opportunities to establish partnerships between government institutions and the private sector. The collaboration seeks to jointly advance science, technology and innovation in Cambodia and support sustainable development.
